We have performed an experiment whose purpose is to determine how the insulation affects the temperature distribution and thermal behavior of the space beneath the deck.Thermal analysis under deck insulation
provides valuable insights into the energy efficiency and overall thermal behavior of a structure. It helps in designing effective insulation systems, optimizing energy consumption, and ensuring occupant comfort in the space below the deck.

Twiga Fiber Glasswool is a lightweight, compressible insulation material, consisting of fine, long, inorganic glass fibers which are made from molten glass and a chemical binder is simultaneously sprayed on the fibers. The binder is a thermosetting resin that holds the fiber glass together. Because of its inorganic nature, fungi and vermin doesn’t grow on it. It is chemically inert so it doesn’t accelerate corrosion. It is also odourless, no emission of dense smoke and toxic gases.

AEROFOAM XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) is a versatile thermoset insulation material that can be used as under deck insulation, duct and pipe insulation, and in a variety of automotive applications. XLPE can be instilled in a new roof, an existing roof (without removing the metal sheet), and curved roofing without any support in an under-deck application. Closed cell polyethylene foam insulation with chemical crosslinking is specifically designed for the HVAC segment.
